This lecture will present recent developments in NIE. The emphasis will be on the analysis of new modes of governance, particularly hybrid organizational forms. Methodological issues related to the analysis of modes of governnce will also be developed. A third aspect of the presentation will be on the consequences of the analysis of these forms with regard to public policies.
